OTHER TRYOUT REQUIREMENTS:

  • You will receive team information packets upon arrival.
  • You MUST bring a headshot with you for registration (this is for ALL hopefuls including returning members). This will be accepted during registration from you. It does NOT have to be professional but please make sure it reflects how you currently look. If you’ve recently changed your hairstyle, make sure the photo matches what you look like now.
  • You will also be required to share a 30-second video answering 3 questions, which will serve as your “interview” for us to get to know you. Once you receive your tryout packet via email, you should send your video back to coach’s email jeaton2@uno.edu. If you do not send back a video by April 16th audition date, your score may be affected.

GENERAL TRYOUT INFORMATION:

  • Please wear solid black athletic wear of your choice to the audition. It is recommended you wear leggings, shorts, skorts, fitted shirts or crop tops/sports bras, and tennis shoes. We want to see all hopefuls as a potential team so it is important that you follow the all-black guideline.
  • Gameday hair and makeup is recommended for the tryout. Follow our social media for more insight into gameday hair and makeup for all skin and hair textures, colors, etc.
  • Poms will be provided to you for the audition if needed.
  • This is a closed tryout. No friends or family are allowed inside of the HPC with you but they may wait outside.
  • You must complete a waiver upon arrival so please be prompt during the check-in time period.
  • You need not have an official acceptance letter at the time of auditions but must be intending to be a student (returning, transfer or new) of the University in Fall 2025.
